Our Classroom

Library is one of our more popular centers. There are books of various subjects to choose from as well as stuffed animals to cuddle with. The children love to "read" to their friends. It's a great way to develop their pre-reading skills.

Our Home Center is a very popular center. It gives the children an opportunity to pretend play, communicate with other students or sort out their feelings through play.

In our classroom, the children have a lot of Table Toys to choose from. They can choose from puzzles, counting and reading games, science and beads to string.

Playing with Playdoh helps in developing fine motor skills. It also helps to strengthen their muscles that they will need for writing.

Our block center features large and small blocks, legos, interlocking blocks, lincoln logs, a zoo and farm as well as people,cars and a train set. The block center also contains large floor puzzles.

Friendship is  very important here in our classroom. Instilling good character traits such as kindness, forgiveness, honesty and love in our students is part of our daily curriculum.
